Sol is truly one of the most loving celebrities I’ve ever met. He lights up the room the moment he walks in. Despite who he is, he remains incredibly humble. He comes to my workplace for his services and knows everyone by name — from managers to cleaners, receptionists to cafeteria staff. He even calls me by my surname, “Mfune!” 😅 That alone speaks volumes. God bless this amazing soul.
He's a genius.

I agree with Sizwe, Sol Phenduka genuinely doesn’t give himself enough credit. He's done more than just co-host... he’s added dimension. Sol brings a thoughtful, critical lens to conversations that elevates the discourse beyond surface-level takes. He contributes balance, objectivity, and a grounded authenticity that sharpens the dialogue while still keeping it relatable and engaging. What stands out even more is that he has been vocal about how people sometimes dismiss the intellectual side of his work - reducing him to “just a podcaster”... despite his solid broadcast background and the depth he consistently demonstrates in conversations. I wish him more years and rewards in the industry and for him to stay strong in regards to what has preiously challenged him. He is one celebrrity I genuinely respect, and love for absolutely no reason lol... you just love him.

It is amazing how Sol puts Mac’s work on a pedestal, this is a sign of a great mind and a great man.
