So glad to see other Gen Z agree David was always creepy and targeting a Gen Alpha audience, I think he really couldn’t vibe with anyone in his own generation, speaking as someone who was born less than a year after David, he was born in March 2005 and I was born December 2005, he ALWAYS seemed so suspicious to be. Fake, performative and always glorifying or promoting the most morally questionable sht. And if anyone looked hard enough his fanbase was never Gen Z, the long term fans of David who didn’t just vibe with one of his songs, were all minors and Gen Alpha.
