Sometimes perfection isn't in hitting all the notes perfectly.  The talent of Patty to carry Vince, Vince's ability to improvise a guitar solo allowing him to collect himself... and the band's ability to follow the improvisation.  Great Talent all around.

Where his voice fails him, his hands make up for it as he pours his emotions out through that magnificent guitar solo.

My favorite thing about Vince Gill is how emotional he is. If you’ve ever heard him speak for more than ten minutes, you’ve seen him cry. It’s what makes him such a compelling singer, aside from that beautiful.

From the first cracking of his voice, my tears started. I knew of his close relationship with George. I felt his heart breaking thru the tv.

Patty Loveless is the queen of everything! How could anyone watch this and not have great respect for her? She handled that situation perfectly and carried the song when her friend couldn’t & then backed down to let him carry it when her friend could.  Perfection…

The "imperfections" give this performance its power. I wish the algorithm (and industry behind it) remembered that.

I love that Patty and Vince have had such a long friendship, that she can’t read him so well, and knew when he needed a little extra support💙

GEORGE JONES performed at our ENTERTAINMENT VENUE several times and I’m so happy my aunt and mother seen him.   They are gone on the mountain.  I seen PATTY LOVELESS at the same venue.   They loved him so much.  🙏🏽🌿🕊️  Thank you JOHN.
