Imagine trying to teach kids who don't want to learn, with parents who act like they're allergic to discipline.

Don't forget bus drivers as well! They're having to deal with disrespectful attitudes, foul language, and all kind of debauchery as well with these same politics. The parents are the problem in a lot of these situations.

It’s people with kids that don’t want to parent. These are teachers not babysitters

I’m an elementary school teacher. I saw a child today with a shirt that said “Back Off! My mom is crazy and I’m not afraid to use her!” Imagine having to have a conversation with that mother about bad behavior 🫩

I can’t wait to retire at the end of the school year. For me it is the behavioral issues and parenting. 😔

You couldn't pay me to deal with these children. Then on top of that you don't get paid.

As a teacher...it is the kids, lack of parenting, lack of admin support, lack of sleep, extra work load, low pay!

My wife and daughter are both elementary school teachers.  Between the parents and the administrators, I be smh when they talk about their daily work problems.

When my adult son was in middle school, a teacher called me & told me my son & his friends were having a food fight & when he told my son to clean it up he wouldn't. I asked him, "Is he there with you?" He said  "Yes." I said put him on. Before my son could say a word I said, "I don't care if you did it or not, clean it. Now put your teacher back on." I said, "Tell him to get it done." He said, "Can I call you again if I have another problem?" I said,  "You won't have any more problems with my son. He's gonna be the best, most polite student in that school from here on out." He was.
