Back in Black is one of those records where you can review every song and it’s all fire!

Angus Young famously joked about the criticism that AC/DC repeats their sound by saying: "I'm sick to death of people saying we've made 11 albums that sound exactly the same. In fact, we've made 12 albums that sound exactly the same."

To transition from Bon Scott and Highway to Hell to Brian Johnson and Back in Black in one year is bananas. Never duplicated.

It's definitely a formula, but they are geniuses at it. It's like a chef that only uses 5 ingredients, but every dish is a banger.

But they definitely aren't ripping off anybody. They pioneered their own blend of blues, and hard rock.
