  Last year, I took the fast train in Laos from Lunang Prabavang to Vientiane. During the journey, an extremely ill patient was wheeled on board by ambulance, accompanied by a nurse. He was able to lie flat in business class. Two hours later, he was taken off the train by ambulance. I thought this was brilliant; it avoided the bumpy roads and the hassle of flying, such as dealing with stairs, uncomfortable seats, and the added costs.

  Wow how fantastic is that train!!! Wish we could travel across Oz in that. 💯 comfort. The station provided so many options to pass time. Enjoy Adam and Susan.

  People call the Whoosh project controversial because of the debt, but in the long run it’s actually boosting Indonesia’s economy. The proof? Foreign YouTubers like you are visiting Bandung more and more that’s the kind of exposure and tourism growth the project was meant to create. cheers🥂

  I am truly impressed with the train system. I have ridden the Shinkansens in Japan but I was not expecting this level of high tech travel in Indonesia. Australia has a lot to learn!! They could take a leaf out of Indonesian’s forward planning

  Funny how the recent stir up recently happening. Some (supposedly) complaining a non-existent problem that the train draining a lot of government budget, which was not the case. And it ended up exactly that, because of all the commotion, the gov ended up chipping in the supposed &quot;debt&quot; and helping the private companies cashflow, with our hard earned tax income.<br> <br>Indonesian islands, like Japan islands, are just the perfect size for HSRs. I hope Whoosh get the green light to extend their service up to Surabaya. I personally adore the no hassle experience, compare to airfare, I mean going through long queue of airport baggage check ins and the traffic to even get there. <br>And the no brainer efficiency this electric powered mode of transport compared to 20.000 gallons of fuel each flight.
