As a gay American who lived in the Canary Islands, I’m so glad to see them starting to get attention on this side of the Atlantic. (Gay and married Californians here. We too spend winters in PV) <br><br>So funny memory. I remember the first time I took my husband to Deutsche Eiche in Munich. To say it was a memorable experience is an understatement. Just my favorite bathhouse experience. So much fun.<br><br>(Continuing this rambling post…) Bogota is amazing for its gay culture. Zesty take on Brazil: skip Rio and go to São Paulo. Go for pride. It’ll blow your mind. (And the bathhouse scene is jaw dropping.) Buenos Aires is just as good as you’ve heard, though do brush up on your Rioplatense Spanish.

Curaçao 🇨🇼 is our favorite gay destination on the planet! All the beauty of coastal desert Mexico paired with the culture of the Netherlands and probably the clearest water in the world. You can thank me later when it easily makes your Top 5 ❤
