  The worst thing people can say to you after surviving this is “oh, but your mother was sick”. This denies all your pain, ptsd etc. It is like her sickness should be helped. It is like giving you ptsd all over again. Do not let people tell you this.

  Watching this interview has been the best therapy for me. My mother was very very similar, our stories almost match up perfectly. <br>My mum recently died alone in a care home, had no funeral and I felt nothing. <br>I always doubted myself and my memories, but even being cruel to the dog has me realising my mother wasn&apos;t a good person. <br>Thank you so much for doing this interview, you will never know how much it has helped me with my mental health. X

  100% relate. My mother was EXACTLY like this, our childhoods so similar. Glad you&apos;re happy now, lovely lady Karen. I&apos;d like to heal one day x

  I hope you will read Lady Colin Campbell&apos;s Daughter of Narcissus. I don&apos;t think there&apos;s poison but the realization of the malignancy of the mother and a week husband. She&apos;s very wise.
