  I’m from Poland and I was perhaps first time listening an Israeli Arab saying the way it is. What makes us hard to pick easily sides in Poland is that Poland used to be quite powerful, then invaded and occupied and disappearing from the maps for over 100 years and brought back again after the WW1 by a treaty. We had many uprises against Russia Prussia and Austria-Hungary, in particular against the first two. But we also were wanted to be wiped out by the oppressing empires. I think what should help connect us with Israel in this case is that we’ve been for a freedom of choice and democracy as one of the first nations ever. The key is are you consider yourself a home to various origins or are you willing someone be wiped out. I liked to hear the life was once very normal for all of the denominations, I’m sure it will be again, wish you all the best.

  Lucy is so articulate and explaining the facts so clearly . I have tears in my y eyes when she says « &nbsp;I lost my sense of compassion « &nbsp;.As a French Jew living in the US I heard what is happened on October 7th ,I was beyond &nbsp;devastated .Now I have to listen to the president of Columbia University evading extremely serious questions .I am sick in my stomach .Lucy is an exceptional and highly intelligent person .May G-D bless her ,her family and all of Israel .
