damn i just can not read one journal to write a thesis and there she is travelling all the way from another country in one of the most remote place on earth, where she has never been before. wow incredible.

Snickers bars are like gold in upper dolpo. Used to go to Nepal in the 1980’s , but never made it to the Northwest. You are very lucky. I would love to go back,, but knees and lungs are gone. Cherish every moment young one.

Thanks you for making this video. We crossed paths in Dora Sumdo on 5-27-2022 and again in Shey on 5-31-2022. I was traveling with Cheryl Parkins and you with Tsiring and her baby. We listened to your discussion of the challenges faced trying to save the snow leopard in the face of the snow leopards risk to the Dolpapa. From my journal: "Last night we went over to the first trekkers we have seen who turned out to be the Tshiring and group researching the snow leopard’s interaction with the local culture. Tshiring (with her baby) and researchers from Canada were very enlightening. They had given us a slide show in KTM on their project aimed at saving the snow leopard. We learned about their research into the interaction of humans and the snow leopard, which commonly attacks the goats that the people depend upon for their survival. A single snow leopard has been known to kill every goat in a goat corral, causing hardship for the herders. There is no easy solution."
