  It was surreal to experience liminal space horror in theater, especially in Dolby sound.<br>Props to Kane he did an amazing job make internet forklore works on big screen

  The soundscape is what <i>really</i> pulled me in while I was watching it. I&apos;m specifically thinking of the time we heard that loud thumping and it ended up morphing into the bassline of a song. Genius.

  i really appreciate the way kane talks about how he only “thinks” and “feels” about clark’s mindset, despite being the author. always a fan of creators who try to give their work space to be “what it is” rather than knowing what they want it to be.

  I absolutely love that they put Clark in that light purple shirt. It’s a direct complimentary color of the yellow backrooms. It looks amazing.

  something i especially loved about the movie was how even the real world felt somewhat liminal. those neighborhoods and different houses felt like something you&apos;d see online rather than an average suburban united states neighborhood, which really set the mood for the WHOLE movie. i also liked how it still left some things unanswered, because (to me) the heart of the backrooms really is that uncertainty and mystery, ESPECIALLY in kanes version. i absolutely love the backrooms with all of my heart and kane really does it so much justice. seeing it again with a friend tomorrow and ive never been more excited 🥹
