  I'd think what happened is pretty obvious - Wycliffe himself told us repeatedly. Dude got blazed,finished up while his siblings played. Came out to perform and forgot what he was doing, while likely believing he was performing an absolutely GENIUS show.

  The funny thing is Rock Around the Clock was so &quot;wild&quot; it caused riots in Germany in the 50s, and here it might have contributed to the unrest in the 90s by being too tame.
