What would you recommend doing if slober chops does alert them to the imps? Should they battle or would the imps flee?

You mentioned that finding the infernal puzzle box was a key goal of the Villa however you also mentioned that it doesn't suggest letting them open it themselves. What is their goal once they have that or how does that lead them anywhere if they don't open it?
