  This never gets said: Size for the loss, trade for the win. This phrase and the nuances I developed within it have reshaped my trading. When I was newer I was sizing for big wins not realizing that the losses that come with that were killing me. Trading with the right pattern that has positive ev but sizing it for the loss I can tolerate made the difference.

  On taking losses: the label &apos;being wrong&apos; on executing your planned stop loss is - for me - part of the challenge you impose on yourself.<br><br>Why qualify a stopout as &quot;being proven wrong&quot;? You&apos;ve performed a perfect execution of your plan.<br><br>Losses can be celebrated, looking at it this way.
