  The sawzall was great for effect- but you could’ve just taken the tuners out (the holes are never finished.), and just scraped the shielding off the cavity paint to measure the wood moisture😂

  Man I would love to see this test done on flagship guitars like fender American pro or Gibson standard… expensive test in that case though 😅

  Critically, nothing shows Dylan treating the cut as instrumental to a decision - like &quot;if I find X, I&apos;ll recommend Y&quot;. It&apos;s presented as answering &quot;I wonder,&quot; not as testing a hypothesis with a predefined threshold. <br><br>That&apos;s the difference between an experiment and a curiosity-driven destruction: an experiment has criteria set in advance for what would confirm or disconfirm the theory. This has neither a control, nor a threshold, nor an alternative-explanation check (truss rod adjustment) ruled out first.<br><br>So the sequence supports the following: &nbsp;<br>A non-destructive, standard fix was never attempted; an unbaselined instrument produced fluctuating numbers; and instead of stopping there, the fluctuating numbers became license to open the guitar up - on a device already known to be sellable or fixable moments earlier.<br>For all we know, the guitar might indeed have a severe moisture content problem. Or maybe every guitar in that price range gives pretty much the same moisture reading from that particular (unnamed) meter, while still being totally playable and having no long term issues (apart from periodic adjustment). At this point, we can’t know. All we know is that he destroyed a working guitar for a test that has zero scientific value.<br><br>That sequence is damning on its own terms - it&apos;s a straightforward chain of stated reasoning followed by action, without any attempt at a scientific method.<br><br>And for the record: I have never owned nor even handled a HB guitar, so I have no skin in the game.

  I have this exact guitar, i do my own setups and I&apos;ve not touched a thing on it, i tried to find a flaw but I couldn&apos;t find anything, &nbsp;I live in the UK and paid £279 delivered from Germany, &nbsp;an absolute bargain for what I got, you could possibly of got what was probably a Friday guitar, love the channel by the way.
