Holy shit ,I LOVE that you have the telemetry settings pulled up so we can see the angle and amount of everything you are giving. This makes paying attention to Steering Angle, Clutch, Break, E-Break, and Gas soooooo easy.

I’m on day 1 of sim driving. Got a g923 to play horizon 6 and jeeeez is this hard idk how you’re so smooth. I managed to get 3 stars on first 2 drift story events but I’m all over the place 😂 I’ve been playing racing games for 25 years with a controller. I’m good with a controller but the wheel is kicking my ass.

What a GOAT. This guy explained it so easily and naturally that anyone could literally understand this. He even explained the most complex part: the clutch: so easily. Other people just use big terms and over explain stuff to the point it gets confusing. Hella useful guide.

DUDE OMG!!!! YOU ABSOLUTE F'N LEGEND!

At first I thought this was going to be another "say a lot, but don't actually explain anything" drift tutorial. Where all anyone does is say absolute mean-nothing riddle-speak nonsense like "steer with the pedals" and then reference car-guy terms that require IYKYK knowledge like "Clutch kicking"... but you? No, you went LEGENDARY and actually EXPLAINED what all that bonkers silly crap actually MEANS so it isn't just word salad anymore.

Glossary I picked up from this video for tl;dr folks who struggle with people's abstract niche phrases like I have been:

Steer with the Pedals : Your car is sliding out from under you because of too much accelleration - so as you spin out let off the gas so the rear wheels calm tf down and the car will drag itself back into orientation.
Clutch Kicking : Hit the gas, with the clutch pressed, so RPM get's high, and you quickly let OFF the clutch (Literally the opposite of kicking, so confusing) and it basically lurches the engine into an already revved up engine.

So putting this together, you "Clutch Kick" which very quickly throws the back wheels out from under you because you hit them with so much power. Now that you started the spin, you can "steer with the pedals" by letting off the gas (calms the rear tires down so you can get straight) or adding more gas (to keep the wheels from going back under the car) --- which ultimately means when drifting you should be doing some half-measure of hitting the gas to keep it where it should go, adjusting how little or hard you push the gas to control the slide.

I personally would never have called it kicking (you literally do the opposite) nor would I have called it "steering" with the pedals... but none of us picked the terms I suppose hahaha. The point is - you made this bonkers level nonsense riddle-speak reveal it's meaning; and for that you deserve all the praise I can throw at you. Ace man. Ace AF. 本当にありがとうございます
