  Quick correction: Apparently you cannot bank moons in one kingdom to collect fewer moons in the next during the main story. I must have just hallucinated that or something. Appreciate those of you who called me out on it. <br><br>Really big thanks to all of you who watched the video, the supportive comments mean the world to me, and I&apos;m super glad you all enjoyed!

  Odyssey&apos;s incredible movement is interesting because it&apos;s so much fun to master, but also means there&apos;s fewer meaningful platforming challenges since you can move so freely. That&apos;s where the captures really shine though. And similar to Breath of the Wild I think the freedom Odyssey gives the player is worth the sacrifices, but that&apos;s not to say this new formula can&apos;t be improved in a lot of the ways you mentioned. And man the vibes of all the kingdoms are just so good. Really great job with this huge retrospective!

  Mario Odyssey means so much to me. Not really for anything in specific, I just love every little aspect of this game. I love the silly storyline, the true sense of adventure across the world, the feel of Mario&apos;s movement, the music, everything is just so truly fun. Mario is so cool :)

In my opinion some of these repeated missions help flesh out the world, are fun call backs, and as you go on some of them get harder. It’s fun to see that the slots owners are expanding their business to other kingdoms, it makes sense that captain toad would be exploring. Similar to peach exploring the kingdoms. It make the world feel even more connected

  Can&apos;t believe it&apos;s been nearly 8 years since Mario Odyssey released. It still feels like yesterday.<br><br>I think you absolutely hit the nail on the head with the different feeling between classic 3D Mario and Odyssey. It does feel like a lot of design philosophies from BotW carried over to Odyssey and it very clearly influenced it&apos;s approach to collectibles and progression

  Really nice personal anecdote to end the video on. Was great hearing you voice your thoughts on the game and your optimistic view of the future of 3D Mario at the end. Congrats on getting this project done dude.

  My favorite thing about this game is how cinematic it is. The plot is still basic but the way cutscenes are done makes the game feel super grand
