  The minotaurs are definitely from the iron warriors, due to their behavior and their paranoia.

  I still like the idea that they&apos;re thunder warriors given gene seed. Arik Taranis fought in the last battle of the unification wars on Terra and then managed to survive up until the Horus Heresy when he stole some unknown gene seed and eventually figured out how to clone it and use it to stabilize his own state as a thunder warrior and presumably use it on others. This lines up with the timeframe that the original minotaurs showed up in the galaxy as well as their brash and unregimented nature in comparison to the astartes and their seeming loyalty to the high lords over the emperor.

  So &quot;I am Alpharious&quot; jokes aside, it makes a lot of sense that the Highlords would break open some vaults that held a bunch of the good shit for their own hypno-indoctrinated hit squad, given how little control they actually have over most chapters. &nbsp;Be funny if Robot Girlyman cracked the seals on their records though. &nbsp;Also the hypno-indoctrination makes them sound a lot like the revenent legion(pre Sanguinious Blood angles) who kept eating their own dead and thus gaining their memories.

  I think it is pretty clear that the High Lords of Terra are able to control the loyalty of the Minotaurs with that which all bovines crave: apple slices, sugar cubes, and head scritches. You can&apos;t tell me that there is a special spot on a Minotaur that if you start scratching it, it&apos;s right leg starts kicking like an F1 motor.

  I have a sneaking suspicion that the labyrinth inside the ship is a nod to Greek mythology more so than it is an illustration of mistrust… I don’t even 40k, but I immediately caught the “wink wink”.
