They keep calling it a buyer's market.... but none of us are buying because we can't afford these crazy prices!! It's a NOBODY'S market.

Prices jumped up 100% in five years. People are losing their jobs. No one is buying because no one can afford homes when they have no jobs.

Many of these people bought a home they could not afford in the first place and now they want to unload it onto someone else. To hell with that, they made their bed, now they can sleep in it...literally.

You know it’s bad when the part of town you used to call the ghetto in your smaller community now has homes costing $300–400k, when just five years ago they were $90–150k.

It's not a buyers market, it's a buyers strike. There are only so many people that can afford or are willing to pay half a million dollars for homes that are actually worth half the price. Drop the price 100k and see what happens.
