Eric ending this series saying "there might be a next episode sometimes" feels like my ex dumping me saying "but we can still hang out sometimes"

This has been the best YouTube series! Ending saddens me, but gives time for another great series to begin!

Every end of a series is an opportunity for starting a new, even better series.
I’m sure Eric won’t disappoint.

Watched every episode. What a truly brilliant series. 'Season One' - sort of over? But.. "I'm due to start another speedrun" - Season Two 'renewed!' Fans rejoice and we can't wait to do this all over again! Well done on creating this fabulous and educational chess content!! Thankyou!

Eric please you can't just stop. You have to do another series. You've conditioned me to fall asleep to your calming explanation of openings and chess tactics. I don't like cheese, I don't play chess, I don't care for chess. But this is how I've been able to fall asleep for the past few months. You can't just take it away from me 😭

This has been such an awesome series. I learned so much, especially during the lower rated games near my level.

Thanks for this series, Eric. Now start from 400 and do it all again in Speedrun 2, please.

I've watched nearly every episode at least twice! Thank you, Eric—amazing work. Your soothing tone of voice is truly remarkable. In an era dominated by loud, attention-seeking creators, a calm and warm voice like yours deserves to be in the spotlight.

Truly one of my fav playlists - I’ve watched through more than once. As someone stuck around 1000 at blitz, I’d love to see more content in that area and how to improve!

Another banger. Eric's legitimate surprise at 36:19 (opponent's move caused Eric to actually say out loud, "Ooooh") was gold.

I fully realize that Eric is on another level, but I had a gut feel that the Queen trade at 50:53 wasn't necessary and it allowed monteneri back into the match. Eric's use of the Queen is one of the stronger features of his game and I hate to see him voluntarily taking the queens off of the board at that point in the game. I get it, I get it ... everyone wants to be Magnus and sacrifice the queen on move 7 and still dominate, but to hell with that noise.

Always rooting for Mr. Rosen to win and to continue to provide his low-key persona to the world. He is the hero we need.
