I’ve been fishing Eppalock on and off since the mid 60s, it was full of Redfin in those days, we used to camp on the Kim Bolton arm and I could put a green celta spinner on, walk down to the water and catch 2 pan sized reddies before dad even had the cooker going. There’s a lot of native fish in there these days, but as dad used to say, it’s 90 miles around the high water mark when it’s full, so there’s a hell of a lot of water mixed up with the fish. Great video, ripper cod. 👍. Bonus the local magpies left you alone 😂

Talk it up Michael! Somthing different, unique looking lake where you were.Nice Cod,i thought Lake Hume Cod were the fattest but the one you got is getting up there! That First Wombat is a bit reminiscent of that Koala we saw, it seems to be thick with wombats there, i have never seen a Wombat on the banks of a waterway before, there are heaps on the side of the road on the way to Dartmouth Dam. Are you sure that Stumpjumper isn't a 1.5 size? You can get in between sizes.
