  The roundabouts aren&apos;t causing your bad MPG. It&apos;s the cars and maybe you guys not being used to gradually slowing towards roundabouts.<br><br>My Focus does 44 MPG.

  Pub is from public alehouse. Way back when, a village would have a house brewing and serving drinks, a pub, or public alehouse. Another pub would be in the process of brewing and ready to serve when the first alehouse was almost out. So a village would always have something to drink. Or so I&apos;m told.

  Roundabouts are primarily fantastic for safety, the chances for fatal injuries are almost non existant compared to intersections. <br>Then, you do go faster and use less fuel than if you had to stop for lights, and of course, the traffic is flowing, so the jams are happening more rarely.
