The best thing that GLP-1 medication did for me was that on lowest dose all my labs returned to normal within first three months❤ ❤. It completely cut off my food noise and stopped my all day eating cravings out of tiredness, boredom, or depression.
Now, after still being on lowest dose for last four months, I realized that food was never the issue. It was my own brain that kept egging me to eat non-stop. I have lost 30 pounds till date eating healthy high protein low carb options in smaller portions. I am fairly active in my house and do brisk walking daily for half an hour.

The best feeling on GLP-1 is that while I am talking control of my body and soul to become healthier and happier, GLP-1 is doing its job in showing me the results of my efforts.❤❤❤❤

Im so happy on the glp1! Next week I start my fourth month. Sw 226 cw 199, I made it to onederland. My goal is to have healthy bloodwork, whatever weight that may be. I have not had any side effects. Quite the opposite. No more daily headaches, loose bowels, aches and pains. I’m soon to be 70. I don’t take daily naps any more. I see my doctor at the end of the month and I’m hoping my numbers have improved. I use an app to track what I eat and weigh. I’m ok with doing that. I eat when I’m hungry and I still get hungry but I stop when I feel full. I have made some food swaps and I don’t eat fast food or junk anymore. But I also don’t have cravings now or urges to binge on sugar which is wonderful. I am type 2 and right now I’m eating more fruit than maybe I should, I will see. I blame my weight gain and sugar addiction on quitting smoking and having a hysterectomy at 48 and yo yo dieting. I feel free! Take care

Just ending week one of my weight loss journey. My shot is zepbound 2.5 mg. One week my first week I lost 8.8 lbs. I was shocked and excited. Biggest change, I lost all desire to drink alcohol . not even a glass of wine. Congrats on your success.

I am so happy I will never again have to say “ I am starting Monday “ I must have said that thousands of times. No more bad tasting diet food, no eating vegetables at the end of the day because it’s a “free” food and I’m all out of points, so thankful for this medication 😊

I can't listen to what my body wants. It wants to eat a pizza and package of oreo's and not exercise at all. 😂

I just switched from Noom to Belle and used your discount code after seeing your videos. Thanks!

I also just hit my weight loss goal today so am switching to micro dosing for cheaper sustainment mode. Next goal is to improve BMI at the same weight.

I love that I don’t have to only eat diet foods. If I eat a hamburger, or Mexican food, I only eat till I’m full

I think for many in the beginning, this medication goes to the other extreme because of the fact that it decreases appetite where most of us eat way too few calories, and sometimes I barely eating, the body doesn’t truly understand what it needs because there’s no appetite to truly eat healthy or appropriately. But in time, I think we begin to start to get better and understanding the body cues. As an example my SIL is on this medication and her body is telling her that what it needs is close to 500 cal which clearly is way too little calories and she’s really struggling to get food in and she’s only on 2.5. So I feel like sometimes this can be the opposite extreme that we need to be aware of.

This is very good practical advice. People who've never had a weight problem typically don't obsess over food and dieting, or at least not for several hours a day. That's the food noise. I didn't fully understand it until it suddenly disappeared and I realized this is how "normal" people live. I've spent my whole (long) life wasting entirely too much time fighting my urges to use food emotionally, menu planning, and trying to find a diet plan that works and that I don't have to white-knuckle. Think of all the amazing things I can do with that time now. :D

I have been entrenched in diet culture since childhood and the amount of damage it has done to my mental health can't be calculated. If I think about it too much I get furious because it stole so much from me. NO MORE! I have developed a passion for, as Bonnie from Diet Culture Rebel says, giving diet culture the middle finger.

You hit it right on the nail for me when you talked about starting dieting on Monday screwing up on Wednesday and saying I’ll start again on Monday that was me for most of my life
