This will be an extremely divisive title for a lot of Fromsoft fans, but for me personally, this game ended up being the perfect storm that combined all of my recent video game hyperfixations. This is not the experience you might have with the game, and it goes without saying you won't be a fan of Nightreign if you weren't a fan of Elden Ring originally. But if you're on a discord call with a couple buddies, the gameplay loop can get heavily addicting, and most of the main gripes I have with it on launch seem very easily fixable.

It only took 16 years of from software games but they made using bows in a game feel extremely fun and not clunky. YOU CAN PUT ELEMENTAL GREASE ON THE BOWS, The ironeye is such a fun class wow and the game really gives you a dopamine rush when you pull out that great bow ultimate and watch everything just fall to ash

Theory: Fromsoft has a game planned that breaks from the traditional Souls formula but incorporates a lot of the core mechanics in Neightreign. Nightreign's purpose was to test the audience reception for this type of game.

My biggest hope now is that they just add more to the game. Keep it alive longer than just a DLC or two.

3:04. Absolutely and objectively wrong. The Plastic Chair is more impactful and imposing than the original throne. Plus it comforts Vergil.

Man, I am so glad to see that Fromsoft is experimenting with their games again. I loves me some standard Souls-Likes but I will always love their weird ass jank games they made before they started printing money with Dark Souls.
Shout out to Metal Wolf Chaos and Enchanted Arms.
