I'm not smart but because my husband is blind I have had to learn how to put everything together, fix roofs, cut trees and build sheds. This guy is awesome and making me feel better at understanding solar done right!

Hopefully this ages like a video from the 90's talking about how cheap hard drives are becoming, it's UNDER $1 a megabyte!

Yes sir I have 3-Yixiang boxes with MB31 cells and I love em! Some folks complain about the JK BMS but not me, I reset to 100% everyday or almost everyday so I don’t see the SOC drift affecting me . I also have closed loop comms with my 6kxp’s and I’m set to control with voltage not SOC. You can’t beat the capacity for the price! Great job with this video. Can’t believe more folks don’t use these.

I have 8x of the Horizontal YiXiang V2 boxes. 5x of them with MB31 cells from YiXiang, and 3x of them with upcycled Grade B CATL 271ah cells. The V19 JK BMS is a beast, and works fantastic. The build quality was exceptional, with no bad parts out of the box or anything. Shipping was about a month for all the cells and the boxes to arrive. The only real problem I have found, and this has been brought up on the forum, is the MB31 cells have some hairline cracking in the welds of the terminals, which YiXiang says is totally fine. Whether it is actually fine or not, I have installed them, and do not have any problems, heat, or resistance issues. Even with that minor issue, I definitely want another 4x boxes!

These videos are coming a long way. This video isn't about building the battery or even a review of the assembly process... That already exists on YouTube. Will is reviewing the product as a whole and is explaining how it compares to other products from his personal experience. This is quality content

I got the Yixiang horizontal DIY v2 box with 16 MB31 cells for $1500 shipped to UK. Incredible price and it’s a beast. Performs perfectly.

You have far more patience than I do for small tiny screws that hit the floor and end up in the 10mm socket black hole.
I pay the extra for instant gratification.
Looking forward to your next portable battery build the needs a 50 ton forklift to move it.

You are the reason I got into solar. This is very interesting but im no professional. Love the idea of a bigger bang for the $ but im not knowledgeable enough to fix a problem if it arises. But again excellent content brother

Just received my MidNite Solar 16Kwh battery. Had to reprogram my Midnite classic 200 and my Magnum inverter. Thing is sweet. $4300 shipped to me. Very happy with it. Hopefully won’t have to worry for 15-18 years now. As a 64YO I am happy I have push buttons and no firmware or apps to deal with…..we are off grid
