"It’s not natural for girls to fight." It's more than natural. An instinct for us to survive, especially because the world is rooting for us to lose.

I love how you included so many examples of women who were used. Rose being abused in Titanic, Buffy being forced by Spike, everything Genya went through, the abuse Mary survive in Reign. All of that shown with those lyrics was just stunning.

A bear only attacks when it’s scared, when it’s frightened. You have no idea what is going on in a man’s head or what he plans, at least the bear won’t make you suffer.

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭17‬:12‬
Better to meet a bear robbed of her cubs than a fool bent on folly.”
That’s why we chose the bear.

Octavia whirling across the floor at 3:41 with the "ambition" voiceover is great. Perfect scene choice, especially for her character arc.

This slapped so hard! Especially with the Buffy, Titanic, Reign, and Shadow and Bone clips. And those are just my personal fandoms that i thought were executed exquisitely. There was so much more! Legit head banging by the end

It’s sad after years of women fighting for our rights it’s being taken away from us again. What’s happening in places like Afghanistan is so sad
