That ending is horrific and this is why the world needed heated rivalry… hope & love over fear & hate.

This is exactly why I left the church and became who I was meant to be. I was in the ministry and I left it because of the horrible hatred shown here. This was an exact replication of what my life would have turned out to be. Instead, I found real love, loving myself for who God created me to be. An out gay man who doesn’t judge people anymore because of they love, for who I love. I still see this everyday and it’s so hurtful. If only they knew what they were doing to their fellow loved ones, I’ve experienced it myself. I lost hundreds of friends when I came out, leaving the ministry, but it was the healthiest thing to do at the time in 2007. I am changed ever since. Today, in 2026, we are witnessing an attempt by the government and the church to erase us like they did in N)zi Germany… we can’t stand for it. We must be out there telling the truth.

Double standards, hypocrisy, and performative faith are presented in full swing in this movie.   There is no true humility or repentance. And the perpetrators of murder feel compelled to adhere to a standard only outwardly, and wrapped in a deadly sin inwardly. The ending was extremely disturbing to watch, making the film impactful on its many messages.  Kudos to the actors and creative team.

A brilliant movie and think there should be more movies that counterpart those struggles. It offers a different perspective. Battling prejudices and double standard hypocrisy. The LGBTQ movies often end on a sad note. If I was to watch everyone I would be too emotional 😂😂 I can't complain because its better than the movie that or mainstream. Thanks for posting ❤
