  One time I ignored a random cucco spawn and it managed to create it&apos;s own army that took over the entire map and nearly wiped out both me and the enemy in the process, forcing us to effectively work together with what remained to push them enough that the &nbsp;original mission could actually play out as intended.<br><br>As far as I&apos;m concerned, any game where that kind of insanity can happen entirely unscripted is a goddamn masterpiece.

  Hyrule Warriors is a musou masterpiece. So much content, &nbsp;I could play 1000 hours and idk if I&apos;d finish. &nbsp;Also, &nbsp;it has my favorite Impa design ever.

  One of my favorite examples of &nbsp;them getting a multitude of references out of a single mechanic is the warp system. You use an ocarina to play the ballad of gales, which summons a tornado from the side of the screen to warp you to an owl statue. That&apos;s Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, Zelda 1, and Majora&apos;s Mask referenced with ONE mechanic. This game OOZES with classic Zelda charm in a way no piece of media ever has or likely ever will, and as a lifelong fan, it has its hooks in me. <br><br>I&apos;ve been playing this game in some form or fashion on and off since it came out all the way back in 2014, and ive been playing my DE file on and off since it came out as well. Still not finished cuz i sometimes take months long breaks. I&apos;ll max everything out one of these days though!

  Hyrule Warriors is probably the single most important Zelda spinoff. Its success (relative to the Wii U) launched not only a legacy of its own as a sub-series, but also loosened Nintendo’s IP grip enough to greenlight Cadence of Hyrule, one of the best games of all time.

  Playing through the full story in one night with one of my friends back in middle school is a treasured memory. This game deserves more love.

  I think that it cannot be understated the surprise you can get from the different characters in getting their mechanics.<br><br>One I particularly remember was Zant, who for the longest time I had no interest in using as he just looks random and unweidly, as fitting of his TP appearance. He is particularly bad with button mashing in stunning himself, but once you figure out his beraerk mechanic his strategy becomes clearer.<br><br>Young Link alters the importance of the magic meter, where he just becomes a monster if you get the right set-up.<br><br>Also, Ghirahim, I love Ghirahim.

  Hyrule Warriors is a decade old?! Oh my gosh...I used to play that game so much, I was obsessed. I played it on the WiiU, 3DS and Switch. The music, the gameplay, the story, all of it was amazing. That game was a great way for me to bond with my father as he and I would play it together. This game still holds up well, but I never see anyone talk about it anymore.

  The fact that juggling, juggle decay, and dash animation cancel exists makes this game a fun your make your own combo hack n slash

  I really wish we&apos;d gotten a proper sequel to this Hyrule Warriors instead of Age of Calamity. AoC isn&apos;t bad at all, I enjoyed it, but there&apos;s something special about the first one that AoC doesn&apos;t capture. I played HW originally on Wii U, and it was my first Warriors game so I wasn&apos;t sure I&apos;d even like it, but I quickly fell in love and spent dozens of hours in it. <br><br>I skipped the 3DS version because I couldn&apos;t imagine the game feeling good there, so I was so excited when it was announced for Switch with all the content of the previous versions and ended up playing the absolute hell out of it. I did most of my play time when it came out, but I still go back every now and then because I sometimes just get the itch to. I never technically <b>finished</b> it, but all I&apos;ve got left is some grinding in the giant cucco mode and fairy stuff, which is not exactly the most thrilling content.
