Arcane is really where I want to see more western animation go, along with something like into the spiderverse.

This is clickbait, arcane has no bad animated scenes

Arcane is a flat out masterpiece, from its soundtracks, to the animation and to the story.

Some of the best female leads I've seen on screen in so long. Strong but flawed characters, powerful but realistic. Absolutely loved watching this with my daughter.

This dude is probably one of the most intelligent and best observers, you've had on this show. In my humble opinion. The way he sees and reflect on the world thru animation. Is fucking immaculate

When they talk about the simplicity about the mechanical arm, I think that's a huge plus. Because my brain can understand every movement and piece going on, so it looks interesting and functional. When I see something like a transformation on the Michael Bay transformers movies I just see a blob of nonsense, it's too complex so I just see visual noise and it's less interesting than this thing that I can read and understand how it works.

I watched the entire show in 1 sitting 2 days ago. Then I did it again the next day. Its such a rare gem... never played LOL either, complete standalone masterpiece.

I cannot believe they said NOTHING about the coolest and most uniquely animated moment in the entire show. The Jinx vs Ekko moment....

It's insane that arcane spends less than half as much as disney but looks so much better.

When watching Arcane, every few minutes my brain had to just step back and marvel in awe at how well presented the visuals were—in artistic rendering, pacing, timing, readability (Alex's "antic" and follow-through).... Normally, this would disrupt my immersion in the story, but in the case of Arcane, it didn't matter because it was so frakkin' good.

My favourite part about the boxing scene that they didn't really touch on it how it sells that Jinx COULD have beaten Vi's score if she was more controlled. Between the braids, the follow-through and pose variety they're showing a lot of wasted movement, whereas Vi is always tight, controlled and in a centered posture. But of course that's central to both their characters: Vi is typically very controlled, whereas Jinx is right on the edge of losing it at any given time, and this is yet another fantastic example of how that's demonstrated via their respective fighting styles.
