  You shouldn't have any probelms other than sore tail feathers.  I made it across the US and back (ironically from Iowa) in 1979 on a beat up 1972 Yamaha 175 Enduro 2-stroke with Dad's Army duffel bag and an old metal gas can strapped to the back.  Ah, cleaning sparkplugs twice a day and the smell of 2-stroke in the morning.  Changing carb jets in rest areas.  The joys of sleeping in an Army half tent during a hail storm.  How many peanut butter sandwiches can you eat in two weeks?  Eggs, both hard boiled and fried?  Rain gear was a 55 gallon trash can liner converted to a pancho.  752,000 bug splats to the face, mirrored aviation suglasses and a 3/4 helmet from the $.25 table at a garage sale.  Borrowed Dad's leather gloves and grandfather gave me an old pair of steel arched lineman boots he wore when some men spent thier days climbing wooded telephone poles with spikes on thie boots.  GPS was maps, communication was collect calls from a phone booth.  On the last day rode most of the night to make it home to work a 12 hour shift slinging cardboard...felt like I could have turned around and done it again. .... fast foward 47 years... Last year during a 700 mile day, I thought I was seriously inconvenienced on a trip when the cruise control went out on the Electriglide, time is undefeated.

  I have one of these. The weak point is the exhaust. it is very heavy and the welds can vibrate apart. Replace with (cat-free) aftermarket exhaust for better performance as well as weight and durability

  I’m in Mexico and can’t believe what $2,500 got me. <br><br>It’s a 2026 vento drakar 300 S. It’s been a great bike so far!

  the zongshen 250 engine has the same power output as an old cb250 superdream (which I used to own), and so long as you avoid the highway, it&apos;ll be an adequate bike - using the highways however means you&apos;ll always be struggling to keep it at a reasonable crusing speed. Good luck!

  That plastic piece in the brake caliper is a spacer so you don’t squeeze the brake and close the caliper on accident.

  Something you should also know is that these bikes have super short valve check intervals (the og &nbsp;Hawk was 1000 miles).
