One of the changes parents were asking for was new Sabbath School material for kids. The Church listened and made the absolutely beautiful Alive in Jesus material. Thank you to all of those who were involved in that change.

FYI—The Hitler discussion starts around 16:25 after some preliminaries. I didn’t know Shawn’s family members were directly persecuted by the Nazis. From an advanced reader of WWII with a history degree and having lived in Germany during early 1980s while sometimes talking with former soldiers in the Waffen SS, Hitler was agnostic, using religion to advance his actions whenever it fit his purpose. Just like certain political leaders in the West do nowadays.

I enjoy your show on Adventist Review TV (unscripted), but I also miss your show on VOP (Authentic). I was wondering if you could do a similar show as that where you are now. I enjoyed the way it was out of the box. It made me really think. I pray that you will have a long run at Adventist Review.

In our men's monthly conference I piped up and said, I would not be here this month if not for a prompting of the Holy Spirit. The I was garnering a relationship with Christ, through the study of the the Bible via the Sabbath School lesson. All of a sudden I was shocked into awareness that I had better get in my car and meet a friend to ride to the distant meeting place. I believe it was the Holy Spirit guidance, prompting if you will. Psalm 48:14. To God be the glory.

If we believe God is head of the church then we have to trust the process. There has been sooooo many arguments over the years, and I will always stand behind the church, because I DO believe that God is the head of it. Even if we do not like the answers (women's ordination, COVID) we still have to lay aside our grievances and support the church, because we all are family after all! I am only commenting after watching this, now I shall go read the article!!

Is it an attack or is it a blessing? The story can change when one starts to pray so no one can really make definite conclusions about the impact. God’s sovereignty decides the ultimate outcome regardless of direct cause. Distractions will come but we can still witness God’s mercy and power. Romans 8:28

I have always believed this. I believe that you go through life things just happen because that’s life. But a couple of times in my life three maybe, I will have to ask God when I am in heaven or my angle or the Holy Ghost, and here they are: 1) I am 13 years old and we are moving from Princeton, LA to Shreveport, LA. Just got home from school in Princeton rural living and walking around outside and a snake is going across the yard. I believed it to be a guarder snake and ran after it and it coiled, most snakes do even guarder snakes, but I got in front of it, stopped it, and it did strike a few times but I dodged it and caught it and held it and put it down and picked it back up just to see what would happen. I was not being mean or hurting it and it settled down. I walked over to the man that was going to buy the small acreage and he almost had a heartache and look at me like I was touched and got in his truck yelling out the window that I was holding a timber rattler (baby one) and drove as fast as he dared off the farm. I think that God calmed the snake down and kept me safe. I was just an unwise child not knowing one snake from another.
2) I was married to my first husband living out on an acreage just outside of Wendell, ID, the year during the summer where we had a plauge of grasshoppers. The farmers were have a had time with the infestation eating their crops. Well, someone decided to do something about it. No in southern Idaho the summers are very hot and dry, except for the farms, but out on the BLM land it was just dry and someone lit it a fire. Caused a the BLM land to burn in many counties across Southern Idaho. Our land was right next to the land that was going to burn. Now we had a big propane tank filled with gas right next to where the fire was to come close to our home. I had gotten home about fifteen minutes to thirty minutes before the fire reached my home. There was a “man” standing close to the propane tank. I did not know him and was concerned because my husband was not at home either. It was just me. I still drive up and got out of the car and said hi to him. He did not say hi nor did he look at me but I heard him plainly that I should get a sprinkler on top of the propane tank and water turn on to keep the tank cool while the fire passed. I said okay and did it and he just stood there and I went back into the mobile home. I was inside for less than ten minutes when the fire was almost up to the house and the rural fire truck starts coming up the quarter mile lane to my home and I go out to greet them. When they got there and got their hose out they noticed the sprinkler in the propane tank and aid good and how I knew that I should do that. I told them about the man which was not there and they ask me where he went. I told them that they should have seen him walking out when they were coming up. They informed me that they had seen no one and we looked along the road that ran between my home in the back and the fire. No sign of anyone.
3) I visited my daughter and grandchildren in Washington state by the coast with my other three children. Had them far apart so they were still young and it was my custom with the younger children that I drove at night. Let them play all day, feed them, cleaned them, potties them, and then put them in the car with pillows and blankets and started my trip around 9:00 PM. But as I was driving around 1:00 AM mamma needed a pottie break. I knew where there was a rest stop ahead. Up until that night I would have said it was not occupied 100% of the time that late at night. I was driving from the west coast to Moscow, Idaho, which was between eight to ten hours. It is my custom to allay talk to GOD and ask HIM for HIS watchful care and protection before I leave on any drive or trip. And then because it is at night and the children are asleep,I talk with the LORD the whole trip. Before I got to the rest stop, I had asked for a safe stop and uneventful too. When I got there, well there was about a dozen migrant laborers out on the walk right next to the parking area as I drove in. I drove up with my lights on and parked. All the doors were locked. I sat there thinking if I should go in or not. As I looked at the group they ever in a circle and not one of the shorter men had looked up or even acted like they noticed a car drove up. There was one taller man, a good head and shoulder taller than the rest and it looked like his arms and hands were around the others between them and me. The tall one looked at me and smiled at me and motioned with his head for me to go to the rest room. So I headed to the rest room watch the tall man as he smiled as I walked. When I came out everyone was still there and the tall man was looking my way when I came out. I smiled back at him and nodded my head as a thank you got in my car and drove. As I drove away I looked back at the group and not one of the smaller men looked up or even noticed I had driven past them.
Now when I get to heaven I will ask. I believe it was GOD, but as you said in your talk tonight, who knows for sure but GOD.
Thank you.

The General Conference Sabbath error in the South Pacific is a mountain, and I'm having a very hard time believing that there are ways to get such things corrected, John Wallace, before he died, did his utmost to get this on the agenda for the delegates in San Antonio in 2015, but was blocked at every turn. I mention it from time to time, like I am doing right now, but I never get a response. Can the church be wrong? Absolutely. Can it be corrected? I don't know. I'd like to think so, but so far, where's the evidence?
