  Every bike I buy, it&apos;s always better windshield or extension, seat, larger pegs, kickstand, you name it ! Exhaust. It never ends

  Beyond buyers’ remorse I’ve bought bikes I hated and learned to love (ie: Africa Twin DCT) and bikes I’ve loved and learned to hate (ie: BMW RT). I’ve yet to find a bike without flaws . . . and joys.

  Thanks for advising, points well noted and that of the head lights is not the first time I read about. Actually for such reasons I deleted it from my next purchase list!

  ..I have GX, and 3200km on him.<br>1. Tires are stupid excuse. Buy better set, easy fix.<br>2. Mirrors can be better for sure, but stil you can see if somebody is behind you.<br>3. Seat is bad. I buy touring one for 300EUR, and solve my problem. Touring seat is much better for sure.<br>4. Brakes (front) have long travel pull for hard braking. Its by design like that. Japanese engineers think on unexperiend riders is better. Maybe stupid decision for experienced riders but you can impove for more racing feel with some cheeper upgrades or switch nissin pump with brembo one, and then you will be fine.<br>For me is ok, I used to it.<br>5. Windshield is ok, I can complain only od noise beacause ear plugs are must.<br>But I ride some 150-180kmh fast 1+hour long rides and and it is ok.<br>7. I do not have problems, but &nbsp; I watch on him.<br>8. Bike is more sport then tourer, you seems like you want more tourer then sport one?<br>9. Dont care, riding alone :)<br>10. For speeds around 170kmh+ bike steering dumper is needed, 100% fix.<br><br><br>Tiger 800 is not sport in my opinion 🍻<br>Greetings from Croatia

  Totally agree with all your points. The bike is awesome.<br>Trouble with tyres? You switch to another make if you don&apos;t like Dunlop. Personally I was happy with those that came with the bike, &nbsp;they only lasted 6000 kms, tho. (too soft)<br>Trouble with brakes? Change the pads to better brembo pads, the stock ones are rubbish. <br>And so on...<br>I am very happy with my new GX.❤

  I love your honest take, and I am reconsidering this bike over the Kawi 1100 ninja because of this! This spring I traded my 03 VFR 800 I bought new in 04 for an 09 ST1300 and I regret it. Although I did get better passenger comfort, the fun factor when I ride solo most of the time is bland. I do love the adjustable windscreen but the exhaust literally cooks my knees and not a summer bike. Vids of my AWD 6000W electric scooter on my channel if interested, that thing is FUN!

  I had same experience 20 years ago with the v strom 1000, so many issues, was my last Suzuki.

  Very good review mate interesting history of bikes you have there I would love to hear your honest opinions on the CB1000GT . You are what the motorcycle community needs not a bunch of soft butt hurt people that cannot stand criticism just because they own the bike and also definitely not the paid reviewers they&apos;re the worst ! You are 100% right we need to criticize the bikes so that we can get more improvements !

  Enzo, I can relate. I bought a Kawasaki 1400 GTR, the premium tourer in the lineup. I hated it. The seat was awful, the hunch forward would have me smashing my nuts in the tank every time I hit the brakes. Wind protection was non existent. I would get a head ache every time I went for a ride. I spent close to $2,000 making it a proper tourer. Sold it in a year. Bought a Honda CBF 1000, was good, ended up with an older Yamaha FJR 1300 for six years which was pretty decent until I started having ABS issues and electrical problems. Ride what you love and love what you ride. 😊
