One of those rare instances where a story can benefit from filler.

I think a large part of Gojo's ambitions had to do with changing society as a whole. Killing the higher-ups was part of this, but it ended ultimately with the main trio being happy and basically "continuing the job". The ending didn't give us a changed society; it actually showed it still had the same problems. We didn't get a changed world and gojo's dream where people didn't have to go through what he did. The villains just died. This is probably the biggest gripe I have with the ending but not the only one.

I'm glad someone talked about the Miwa thing. Its so clear that Gege had a plan for her but dropped it halfway through and hoped we wouldn't notice.

I think the reason Gege decided to immediately timeskip is he just wanted to end the manga, he couldn’t take a hiatus with the story hitting its peak of popularity and hype, so he rushed to the end. Its rather sad knowing the potential that was missed because he just didn’t want to keep going.

I had a very similar reaction to the time-skip. It made me realize that the man who wrote Hidden Inventory was no longer interested in the things that I thought made that arc so great.

Yuta taking over gojos body felt the most clickbait thing:

“Oh my god gojo is alive gotta read next week”
“Oh my god yuta took over gojos body and is about to do a domain expansion gotta read next week”
“Oh my god yuta is about to land a point blank hollow purple gotta read next week”

Only for nothing to happen literally felt like an excuse to trend on twitter for 3 weeks with a hollow fan theory idea

We all read those last few chapters and knew Jallomoth was cooking up a storm of a video…

You described it perfectly—it’s not that it’s bad, it’s that it’s so so unsatisfying. My biggest gripe was the lack of character interactions; I remember finishing the last page and being like “damn, they didn’t even care about each other like that fr.” We got no significant interactions, hell, people didn’t even care about Gojo dying for example😅. There’s so many things that went unanswered due to carelessness more than an actual opened ended mystery and it pissed me off about halfway through culling games and it went downhill from there😤 Mind you, what do we even know about Yuuji by the end?

Much like Megumi is potential man Jujutsu Kaisen is the potential manga. There’s always this may happen or maybe these characters will interact but it never happens it’s just the potential of all the super interesting plot points

This series was ultimately hurt by the manga publishing industry and the schedule it creates. Gege isn't the only mangaka with a fantastic piece of work that has suffered at the hands of the industry, and ultimately had their creation made worse as a result.

JJK needed to slow down. The Zenin extermination should have been a whole arc, it feels like the anime could do the whole thin in two eps. More moments of the trio just going around helping people deal with curses, making their bond be more fleshed out. JJK reads like a summary of a larger story. When Nobara "died" I honestly felt bad, but didnt feel devastated, it was kinda whatever, we didnt get that much from her. Like people say, JJK would benefit from filler.
