The 30 minute charge time only works if there are always free chargers waiting. If you're third in line... Also the economics only work if electricity is relatively cheap. If you add the cost of the high speed charging station and any equivalent of motor fuel taxes, the fuel cost coomparison won't necessarily overcome the higher initial cost of the truck.

Ha Ha Ha Ha I come to the comments to see the ignorance and I am not disappointed. These trucks are coming at 50,000 units per year and it wont be long and there will be no driver in them. I have a Tesla model Y and it is shocking how good the Full self driving is. Believe me they are coming and I feel sorry for all the drivers they will not need
