Während ich „Amazing Grace“ höre, stehe ich auf einer unsichtbaren Brücke: Ich blicke nicht nur auf den Abwasserstrom der realen Welt hinab, sondern kann zugleich mit Gott über dem Himmel kommunizieren.

 When the real world seems like a desolate desert, listening to “ Amazing Grace” is the most valuable oasis to quench my spiritual thirst from the depth of my soul. Great thanks be to God 🙏

 I'm 83 and remember singing this at a Billy Graham rally when I was a member of a church youth choir. This performance is fantastic.

 I am a seventy-eight year old musician and Scottish and have played this Scottish melody many times and this little girl's voice has given me new inspiration for this beautiful melody; yes it is something when a voice can bring tears of joy to ones eyes!

 Amazing grace! how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch; like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
2
’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!
3
The Lord hath promised good to me,
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures.
4
When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we first begun.
