This was one of the movies setting tears in my eyes..and as a Bond fan I must say..it's a stand out..I find it Craigs Best by far and it can be watched as a stand alone Bond movie if you only seen 1 or 2 instalments..The pre title sequence alone: a carchase, a motorcycle chase, a constuction machine, a train..and then the song and the animated sequence foreshadowing what is coming..the movie tells Bond as he was and how he has to return and even describes an origin story all at once whitout explaining but just weaven into the story and action and emotion..and J. Bardem is an underated villain..he is so scary that even one of his ..was it a pr)stitute..? says..You do not know fear not like him..wich is a callback to Renard and Sanchez..and he reminded me to Max zorin who was even more disturbing....the helicopter flying into The Skyfall manor was so good!! and pure Bond..and I love the scenesyou see the house burning on the background..

I still find Daniel Craig one of the best Bonds, even though he dies in Denmark, on the Faroe Islands. They have a Memorial Stone up there.

Thanks for posting I really really enjoyed it. Im with the rewatch bunch. I like some of the Bond films but I’m definitely NOT A fanatic fan of the franchise. Personally Craig is the best Bond yet. He’s an assassin and that is an honest real world interpretation of the role. Connery’s portrait was of a snob with an expense account. My own vision for Craig’s Bond future was that he would resign from MI5 and turn to the dark side as a mercenary knowing full well that M would hunt him down. Now that’s a bond story that I’d pay to see! 🇨🇦
