I just came back from the courts and hit with my new defyer for the first time. Damn it's so smooth. It mutes the hit so good. I love it. I know It's gonna take some time to adjust from the vcore but I love it.

I wouldn't say the Deefyer is a "power" racquet. However, it rewards you when you swing with full power. The racquet doesn't feel stiff, but it's super stable, and when you swing through the ball the ball pretty much shoots out of the string bed with a ton of spin.

Defyer is a brillaint racquet, just needs a couple of grams of lead tape added.

As a lefty, your overgrip should go on the other way, so it aligns with your fingers.

Defyer 98 looks to give you good power for baseline game and serve is evolving. It is a solid frame to absorb powerful returns aswell, look forward to tournaments of you playing with this one, the frame does give PRO stock feel and allows customization because of head light balance.
