  I really like this take on Future Sage. She’s still a child, misguided, trying to fill a void left in her after the deaths of her father and likely Sonic, having combined the philosophies of both in the worst way possible, if their ways are even compatible. She’s more pitiful than malevolent.

  I imagine Sage manages her &quot;egg dome&quot; like a colony sim game. Anyone who&apos;s played those games can attest: you love all your little people and want them to thrive, but from your birds-eye perspective you can&apos;t see their individuality. It&apos;s all numbers and optimization.

But once you&apos;re freezing to death, fighting off predators, and eating dirt... who wouldn&apos;t want to move into a place with four walls and a roof? <br><br>Then when they suggest there are ways that Sage could run things better, she think they&apos;re sympathizes of Silver&apos;s. <br><br>This isn&apos;t a clean neat &quot;good vs evil.&quot; <br>This is opposing truths.

  Some envision future Sage as a cold, logical tyrant that lost her heart when Eggman, Sonic and the others died. Cursed with immortality, forsaking relationships knowing they’d die eventually. But, I do like this tragic, benevolent version of Sage too. But, there’s also the chance she caused the end of the world as well. Sage, as an AI, has the potential to be more dangerous than her father, or Metal Sonic. She can’t age, die, can manipulate things and end theatres in many ways. She and Silver are almost destined to do this forever. Every time he gets back and changes things, she just adjusts her strategy. An endless cycle.

  I love this concept of sage. Its not the easy &quot;eggman is bad and sonic is good&quot; they are both doing what they believe is right and the fact there are MULTIPLE comments discussing about their philosophies really shows how good this is. It makes people follow what they believe is more right and then they follow that path just like what sage and silver are doing
