  Tau and orkz would be the safest bet to surrender to Tau are generally forgiving and As long as you've given an ork a good fight, they're more than likely to let you go to retrain so you can fight him again

  Surrendering to the Tau is better than going back home to the hive city.

  Prior voice was better, the original voice also carried the stories at a slower and more pleasant pace that where the pauses took place made what was said funnier and more impactful.  This new version is ruining what is being delivered by chopped up sentences and failing at the deliveries.  Please fix this my guy.  Enjoyed watching and laughing before bed each night.

  This of course is highly dependent on battlefield conditions. If the offensive hasn't stopped pushing you kill on sight and keep fighting. Believe it or not that was US infantry doctrine during ww2. Maintain battle formation 1st while prisoners are a distant 2nd.

  Re orks and captivity. In the older 40k comics this was the topic of one of the stories, a liutenant from a tallarn regiment is captured after his regiment got overrun holding a position. During the battle he gets knocked out and covered in green goo which confuses the orks and a lowly ork boy adopt him as a weird ugly but lucky squig (so he lucks out there kinda, gets to avoid being an outright slave at the price of being inside a cage most of the time unless his ork owner lets him walk around to stretch his legs)..<br>For months that liutenant maintains the act since it was implied they would have killed him on the spot if they figured out he was a humie, and the ork owning him going from a lowly boy to a big massive nob thanks to his lucky squig, growing in status and rising through ork society (its been a while since i read so cant remember if he outright becomes a warboss by the end but does make it up to nob tier at least). Since the ork is rising through the ork hierarchy and brings his lucky squig with him everywhere, it does enable the liutenant to be privy to the ork&apos;s plans and once he learns how to escape his cage he even starts gaining access to sensitive areas of the gargant he is imprisoned in for future acts of sabotage.<br><br>During 1 skirmish the imperial guard manage to fight their way inside the gargant and find the liutenant and try to free him but the ork nob goes berserk realising umie gits are trying to steal his lucky grot and slays them before they can do so, orks end up winning this skirmish.<br>Eventually though, the crafty liutenant hatches a plan and during another battle inflicts enough sabotage and chaos inside the gargant that he is able to meaningful disrupt the ork offensive and allowing the imperials to win. When imperial elements reach the gargant once again and find the liutenant still very much covered in green gunk and such and probably smelling foul, the rescuing guardsmen were NOT harsh at all towards the liutenant, he was elated at seeing his fellow imperials and once he identified who he was the imperials took him in very amicably, and a few panels later he is back in full tallarn attire leading a regiment.<br><br>Take aways from the tldr: maybe its because this story was from older 40k lore where the imperials were less grim stupid compared to the modern flanderised version of the iom we have today, but yeah this was a canon example of imperial guard rescuing prisoners from orks and both times guardsmen stumbled upon the captured liutenant there was 0 mockery or shame or anything there, they were instantly welcoming and all like &quot;we going to get you of this!&quot;. There was no commissar in either scene so maybe that might have been a factor as well.
