Jay Jay Okacha free transfer… madness 🤣 from paris to bolton haha Football used to be amazing man. I remember us (Middlesbrough) signing Ravanelli, Juninho, Emerson.. even later on with Mendieta, Zenden, Yakubu, Viduka. Football has changed so much man.. Id of taken Okocha in a heart beat 🙌🏼⚽️

As a hull city fan I had the privilege of watching Jay Jay in the championship, the season we got promoted to the Premier league . His talent was ridiculous,I remember playing Burnley that year and we won 2 nil Jay Jay completely ran the game but the moment that stood out for me was when he received the ball on the edge of our penalty area . He looked up and belted the ball 60 yards and i and the whole stadium where bewildered why he had hoofed the ball like that until we saw the winger coming in from the right hand side and it landed inch perfect into his stride. great human being too ,I met him that year and got his signature for my nephew, he couldn't have been nicer. Big Sam had him in his pomp what a player he was . My favourite player ever to come out of Africa ,and that is really saying something when you think of drogba

I've never felt more English than I do after watching these two old legends bashing around a few anecdotes.

one of my earliest memories of football is being in Curry's, maybe 8 years old, watching Okocha score a free kick on the TV screens.
