  Skill issue man, OBVIOUSLY the intended way to dodge this attack is to stare only at her left foot (as intended by Miyazaki) and do a little circle around her at a specific timing while rolling at a 180° angle to her foot.<br><br>I mean It&apos;s blindingly obvious, almost everyone I know did exactly that when discovering for the first time this attack.

  In my first playthrough I actually avoided the entire attack by simply not making it to the Haligtree (which I think is the intended method).

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DUsDark7a4&amp;t=739">12:19</a> light roll couldn&apos;t have possibly been intended because it didn&apos;t have the property of extra distance on launch. It only gained that in a much later update.

  Also Miyazaki expressed doubt when he was told that people have completed Dark Souls No hit. I think thats an important detail to know, these games aren&apos;t exactly designed to be no hit.

  Honestly that first flurry is the main issue i even have with Waterfowl, the rest makes sense, but the first flurry can be instantly brought out and face-tank hits, rendering tactics of &quot;run away&quot; unreliable when she pulls it out as defence and offence simultaneously.<br><br>Also: a lack of Keyboard and Mouse guides on dodging Waterfowl&apos;s first flurry, was a damn blight on me for WAY too long.<br><br>But aside from that, the second and third flurry is far more fair, with the third looping around and attempt to catch players. I like that stuff, but that first flurry was what breaks me.
