I built one of these in early 2025 for an Utah hunt. I used a shorter barrel and pushed slightly faster. Absolutely amazing and I don’t have to buy a magnum.I feel comfortable hunting any lower 48 game inside 600yds. Thank y’all for coming up with the idea.

I did some calculations around .308 Super firing Warner Tool Company's 198 grain Flat Line. With standard pressure the transonic line was about 1700 yards. However, using a pressure calculator, with 80000 psi, it would still be supersonic at 2000m (normal ballistics calculators do not go beyond that).
