  As largely a Duran fan, of all the true legends of boxing in that era, I still feel compelled to "admit" that Leonard won this fight. Some say Leonard was a runner, yet he instigated mix-up with power punchers at every opportunity.  Great fight.

  I'm 67 years old now and I have been watching boxing all my life. I think RAY won this fight. I think RAY took advantage of the fact that HAGLER didn't take this fight as serious as he should have. Just my opinion.

  The stronger man got outboxed! Hagler was still the greatest middleweight champion.

  118 to 110 to Leonard was RIDICULOUS. I’m a BRIT I have NO preference for this. I think Haggler should have won the Split Decision. Or even a Draw. That means Hagler would have retained the Title.

  Leonard, gano 10 de los 12  round. grande, grande 👌 uno de los mejores boxeadores de todos los tiempos. vi esta pelea el año 1987, en esa época yo con 23 años hoy 62 y sigo pensando lo mismo

  It's obviously a Leonard fight. He really had a high IQ. He instigated strong combinations throughout the course of the fight. Hagler was left desperately chasing Leonard.

  Utilizo la misma estrategia de brincar pegar y salir para evitar El Contra golpe le dió buen resultado en la Segunda pelea con Dirán y la tercera El problema de esta forma de Boxear muy bonito es que ganas asaito por muy poco margen pues los árbitros también califican la agresión del Rival sobretodo si lleva la Presión de la Pelea exelente los dos
