  I buy a regen shield when I have an ultimate on characters like Clow and Phoenix because after Phoenix's ultimate you get a small shield back, and in the case of Clow the logic is the same.I also find the regen shield effective at low ranks, especially on the sage character on the defense side

  regen shields is good on defense especially with healers because you can take a low-commitment and back up to your next angle to recover if you take chip damage. I also like playing regen shield guardian on the first anti eco because even if i take chip, i can still carry my light armor in to my bonus.

  The only time the regenerative shield is good is when you win the first round and buy a Bulldog or Guardian for the second; that way, if you survive, you still have the shield plus the weapon for the third round.

  i typically only buy heavy shield when i am way up on economy. the logic is when both teams are on buy rounds, you die in 1 shot to ARs anyways. the only exception would be round 2 against outlaw, if i think they have it, i skip regen<br><br>regen is also good against agents who do chip damage (grenades, mollie etc) due to the 100% dmg absorption

  im bad at the game but i like regen shield sometimes. I&apos;ll jiggle at the start or hold a sliver for info and shoot on reaction to motion, you get peppered while doing this since they will hit you thorough a wall but you get people who try to fight it raw which can often get you a kill

  I havent used it myself, but regen shield can be good if you&apos;re on veto and you know you will ult, this way both health nd shield regenerate

  Imo I just usd regen shield whenever I know they don&apos;t have outlaw and they have guns that do chip dmg / guns where they just usually spray the smokes like the odin or Ares as example. Since the regen shield takes 100% of the dmg first, you can easily get away eith getting chip dmg&apos;d.

  I play sova a lot so regen shield is actually really useful cus I am fighting people through a wall lot of the time. And I will take a little bit of chip damage through wall and it fine cus of the regen shield. Its great if you’re gonna do odin spams and all that.

  As a diamond player, I find myself buy regen on the 2nd round after winning pistol<br><br>My logic is, my shield will be shot by multiple pistol, so having that regen, is like buying two light shield that I can use in the round, or carry over onto the next round. I also found my economy stabilise more when I buy regen shield

  I&apos;ve been experimenting with Regen shield over Full shield recently and I&apos;m very satisfied with Regen shield.<br><br>Whenever I die, I check whether a Full Shield would&apos;ve saved me. A lot of times it doesn&apos;t because I die to a headshot.<br><br>The advantage with Regen shield though aside from being cheaper than Full is that you can potentially have a total of 175 HP if you keep getting chipped then heal up your shield.<br><br>In addition, it&apos;s also easier for your shield to carry over to next round , even if you survive with 1 HP you can still have 25 shield the next round which saves even more money.<br><br>As someone who likes the FNATIC Light Shield buy, choosing the Regen shield as the luxury upgrade instead of Full Shields. The amount of times a Full Shield actually saves my life doesn&apos;t justify the extra cost. The benefits of the Regen shield such as the potential 175 HP and carrying over to next round happens more frequently, and it gives you more buy rounds even if you keep losing rounds.

  I like buying regen shield on rounds that we have a planned fake on. <br><br>Often I and a teammate fake the other side of the map, shoot a bunch of bullets through a smoke, and maybe the sprayed back, losing part of my shield before rotating back to the other part of the team. The way I will still have a 25 shield, and if I am playing Veto or have a healer on my team, I can heal back to 125 again when the enemy is playing retake. There’s been many rounds I survived over 300 damage in one round because of this. <br><br>I will also not that I’m often playing Phantom, so just to fake out the enemy. I am playing with Vandal during the fake, so the enemy team doesn’t know who’s faking. Especially good when most of my team plays with Vandal.
