I've been told that I am overly optimistic and you don't have to always smile and sometimes folks just don't feel like smiling, but I feel like if you are having a bad day and you're smiling and trying to be upbeat it actually does help, plus you never know who your smile might be helping, so it's work for me for these 55 years I'mma keep going with it❤

so funny you're talking about how a person's scowl deters others from engaging. my son called it "resting bitch face". i realize now that i'm in my mid 60's my face looks scowly on the outside but i feel just regular on the inside, even happy sometimes. i guess my concentration lines have caught up to me.
