  Well, guys, just a quick update, I only went and did it. Today, I enrolled in college to study English and Maths, I start in September. I just wanted to thank you all for your kind comments and amazing outpouring of support. It meant the world and gave me the push I finally needed. If you&apos;re thinking of getting back into education or want to start out, go for it!! You can do it, and you&apos;re much stronger than you know. The Doughnuts and Cam are an incredible community, and I&apos;m proud to be part of it.<br><br><br><br>As someone whose mum pulled them out of school months before I would have started my gcse&apos;s, it&apos;s scared me for life now. I&apos;m 42 now, and since I was 15/16, I&apos;ve struggled to make friends in real life. It knocked my confidence, and I haven&apos;t gotten it back. I don&apos;t have any further education or qualifications, I&apos;m only now feeling brave enough to look into adult education for my gcse&apos;s, and I&apos;m terrified about it.

  It’s literally mind-boggling to me that there are kids in the world who would die for a UK standard education… and yet we have parents who are SO narrow-minded they will knowingly deny their own children the opportunity. <br><br>Literally immediately closing SO many doors… I feel bad for these little girls.

  &apos;Is it normal for a nine year old to get lashes done&apos;, no not really, maybe if they&apos;re in toddlers and tiaras, its normal for little girls to express interest in this stuff but indulging in beauty products so young makes children grow up focused on beauty standards and not the world around them.

  As someone who was homeschooled the correct way, by my mom who was educated to do it. She also made sure we had a social life. This makes me sad.

  A lot of people also forget that school is really important for learning social skills and building relationships. You learn so much about people and how to be in a society its not just english maths science
