Remove all the elements from elven light, no fire, no poison, no curse. Also use a berserker bodyguard with axes. I fought throne rooms and my bodyguard does all the work, killing the overlord and the 2 bodyguards.

For the wrath giver question, you can disable the elemental damage on the elven light perk tree and it’ll stun everything regardless of resistance

Only berserkers tend to start hitting their own guys when enraged, VERY rare if not almost impossible for other classes to do it intentionally.

I love to see these older games still having passionate communities. Its kind of sad that with the creation of new media and masterpieces we forger the media and masterpieces of the past.

The best way to handle this is to get as many 7777 orcs from these conquests as possible, so you can use them for future 7777 conquests or for any type of Content in general. So,even if you're dying you get the allreday recruited 7777 orcs. Make sure to let them fight by your side in the conquest you recruited them.

A lot of the toughest orcs are not immune to stealth because people don’t think about stealth in fort defense, why would they after all, you can't go undetected right? Well, I can use brutal freeze on a grunt and then pin their legs in order to make use of the stealth chain kill ability. At max level you can get stealth attacks to insane dmg numbers, meaning a couple grunts pinned to the floor near an overlord and I can chain the stealth kills into him unless he's immune.
Even if he is, can't be immune to stealth, headshots, and executions all at the same time. One way or another, I will crit them to death without giving a chance to fight back.

Using this method I have dropped max level overlords in 2 hits, possibly even in 1.
