Your reasons for loving the Wandering Trader is valid. Minecraft players easily seem to to forget that Minecraft has a WIDE playerbase with LOTS of creativity and playstyles. Just because something Mojang added doesn't center around a specific playstyle they treat it as the worst thing to exist. I love that you built a mansion for him.

I personally love the wandering trader, even if I don't want to buy anything from him (even tho he can give you MANGROVE WOOD guys come on he's great early game), he's just fun to have around, and it makes your base just more interesting and less lonely, like your not the only wanderer in this strange world :) plus if you domino want his deals, fine. what did he do to you to make you want to dismember him ?

The wandering trader really is underrated. It's not even just helpful for limited worlds and challenges, sometimes you just don't have a specific biome spawn for thousands of blocks and the wandering trader is closer to home. I always check what they have just in case I can get a wood type or something that I don't have yet

The wandering trader is amazing! He offers many items you may not have access to yet and a renewable way to get items that are otherwise not. I will sometimes trap his llamas and push him away so the lead breaks, but I don’t kill him.
