  When Aelita enters the code lyoko into the tower it shuts it down and cuts of xanas connection to the real world which then allows Jeremy to do a return to the past (reset) which resets the day back 24 hours which wiped the memory of anyone who hasn't been scanned into the supercomputer and the reason Jeremy still remembers is cause in the prequel fill "xana rises" after Jeremy activates the return to the past which wiped his memory so the team then tell him what happened and he then scans himself into the supercomputer without actually travelling to lyoko

  The virtualisation process is basically Jeremy scans the lyoko warriors and when there in the scanner the supercomputer basically digitises the person and adds their gear onto them before transferring them onto the different sectors of lyoko

  It’s crazy that Code Lyoko warned us about AI over two decades before our lives were invaded by it. Show was insanely ahead of its time.

  If you keep watching this show, I hope you take note of the running gag of the malevolent drink machine. The PE coach, Jim Morales, also gets a running gag starting in season 2, but he’d rather not talk about it.<br><br>Edit: teddy bear

  Code Lyoko is so goated <br>This series mystery plot and character interactions have been always one of my favs<br>Xana awakening episodes are recommended to watch as one of the first ones since its basically an exposition

  Thank you for this story! A couple of notes for those who are confused:<br><br>The 2-part episode &quot;X.A.N.A. Awakens&quot; prequel episodes that fall between Season 2 and Season 3 are a much better first watch since they explain things a bit more.<br><br>And here&apos;s my summary of the mostly &quot;non-spoiler&quot; basics:<br>The Super Computer, it has special access to basically anything and everything electronic in the world (there&apos;s also some magic involved it can do as well, like manipulating atoms, changing gravity, reversing time, etc.) and is the central focus of the show.<br>Lyoko is a virtual world built into the Super Computer. It&apos;s all code, and people who get &quot;Virtualized&quot; are materialized (their atoms turned into electricity, or back again) to enter or leave it. On Lyoko are Towers that grant users access to the Super Computer, and thusly the real world. To gain access to more processing power, one must &quot;control a Tower&quot;.<br>XANA is an artificial intelligence that is able to &quot;attack&quot; those Towers on Lyoko to turn them to his side and give himself processing power to the super computer and interact with the real world. He often spends days, weeks, or even months calculating &quot;schemes&quot; to gain complete access to the Super Computer, knows the Lyoko Warriors are actively trying to stop him, and as a result often is attacking the Lyoko Warriors, random innocents, and the school they all attend in order to get them off the field so he may gain complete control uncontested.<br>The Lyoko Warriors. This is Jeremie Belpois, the kid in the chair with an intelligence rivaling that of Einstein and other geniuses. Aelita, the virtual girl who lives on Lyoko and is the only one who can enter in codes in the Towers, and can&apos;t virtualize in the real world and would be forever lost if she were to die on Lyoko. Yumi Ishiyama, the transfer student with impressive skills in martial arts and oldest out of the group. Ulrich Stern, the moody emo kid with a golden heart who wants to protect everyone. Odd Della Robbia, the trouble-maker with a knack for free-running and parkour, also the youngest in the group.<br>The code &quot;Lyoko&quot; disables XANA&apos;s attack on the tower and disables any code it was running (like animating teddy bears, reversing gravity, etc.).<br>Jeremie is able to run a program called the &quot;return to the past&quot; at any point in time when he has access to the Super Computer. He&apos;s also capable of setting it on a timer, should the worst happen. It returns everything back in time, except for the memories of anyone who has ever set foot on Lyoko or XANA, or reverse any deaths (in the Real World or those that fall into the Lyoko Sea).<br>There is more to it than outlined here, but this is what you as the audience would know roughly throughout Season 1. Everything here gets more complicated, and more problems begin to arise.

  The show came out when I was 13 I re-watched it twice since I would absolutely love to show to come back
