  The sad part about this is that LAPD was so busy being racist that they KNEW his main victims were sex workers. When they found that out they said he was “cleaning the streets” One of my peoples moms passed away because of this man. The daughter didn’t find out what happened to her mom until she saw on TV. I hate this man

  the part about this story that pisses me off the most is that the LAPD , for 20 years, refused to tell the public there was a serial killer on the loose. RIP to those women that lost their lives to this evil degenerate monster.

  I remember speaking with a Black detective who was working on this here case for many years. He mentioned that he wouldn't retire until they found the predator responsible for the crimes. The Grim Sleeper was arrested in 2010. The detective finally retired in 2011. I used to call him from time to time because my sister was struggling with addiction and engaging in dangerous behavior on the streets. When I couldn't find her, I often reached out to the detective, as they were discovering bodies all over Los Angeles, and I feared that my sister might be one of them. Thankfully, today she is sober (20 years), and I am truly grateful. My prayers for the family of these beautiful women.

  The Grim Sleeper was sloppy leaving evidence everywhere. It’s obvious that the LAPD didn’t want to catch him.

  This Monster was my neighbor for years. I spoke to him and his wife alll the time. My boys, who were teens at the time, and some other teens, close friends of his and my play sons, hung with him learning of cars and things......this man was quiet, his wife was nice,  never an issue, never bothered anyone! After I moved, and saw this on the news, it shook me to my core, but esp my daughter,  who was also a teen at the time. She told me after we found out that she had run into him at the ice cream truck in front of our apt back then, and he asked her how she'd been as he hadn't seen her in awhile. She said "Oh, in school, but I don't hang outside anymore really (she had gone thru a rebellious stage around that time  and would sneak out while I slept, but had stopped thank God).  He told her,  "Good, stay inside, it probably saved your life".  When she told me that, my blood ran cold! Shock isn't the word! Then my boys and their friends began telling me how he would ride them around, and show them pics (indecent of women) that he hid in his garage from time to time!  I was horrified to say the least because I was one of those " Super Strict" parents and just knew I had them under control!  All I could do was thank God 😊 that he protected my babies at that time from a 😈 we thought was just a "Nice,  Neighborhood Resident"   My boys and their friends were completely shook upon hearing of him, and this led ALL of them into decent Careers!!  Just saying this to say you NEVER KNOW WHO You are around in life and to stay VIGILANT!! Esp for your children!!!  💯💯🙏🏽🌹✨️✨️✨️

  My cousin used to take her car to him to get fixed all the time. I told her she lucky he never tried to get her! That shit crazy!

  Los Angeles was awful back then and you had the night stalker to . I remember my mom and dad would have us inside the house at 5 pm everything was locked

  My grandma told me this dude tried to pick her up in the 90s and she declined bc she had a bad feeling about him. It’s crazy it’s always people you wouldn’t think
